I'm off dA for a week only to find out that I've hit the 30k mark. Whoever it was that hit that mark, thanks so much. That just made my return trip from New York worth while.

My first trip to the east coast may have been a cold and rainy one, but it was a very memorable one. I'm also glad it didn't rain on the day of my cousin Josh's wedding.  I may not have been able to visit my uncle's grave, but I was able to meet my cousins John, Josh, Javier, Justine and Sarah for the first time in 15 years.

These past two weeks were stressful, but rewarding. First graduation, then Fanime, then the New York and then the three day train ride back home, which included a six hour lay over in the Windy City.

Class of 2012

As of one month from today, I'll be graduating from CSULB after four long, tough, but very member-able years. I transferred to Long Beach, from Mt San Antonio College (S.A.C.) as a Marine Bio Major but changed to Communications, which was one of the hardest things I had to do. By studying Communications, I began to see the world in ways I never knew. I've taken a fascination about non-verbal communications, family relationships and communications, pop-culture and communications, and perhaps one of my favorite topics; gender and theories of communications.

GO BEACH!

My graduation goals is to secure a full/part time job anywhere, even if its out of C.A.

The same day that I graduate from Long Beach, I'll of course be heading up to San Jose from Fanime. Then right after Fanime, my mother and I are headed to Utica, New York, to attend my cousin Josh's wedding. It will be the first time in 15 years that I'll have seen him, along with the rest of his brothers and sister. This will be a good opportunity to take some wedding pics. Besides the wedding, the most exciting part for me will be taking the train back home. It make take 3 days, but I don't care cause I never get board taking the train.

GO BEACH!

Remember 9/11

I can't believe its been ten years since that day: Tuesday September 11th, 2001. For me it seems only like it was yesterday.

I can see the events as plain as the day it occurred; it was typical Tuesday morning for me and my family. Back then I was a junior at West Covina High School. I was beginning my daily routine; wake up at 6 am and have breakfast then go back to sleep and later wake up as 7am and be on the road at 7:30am. I turned on the TV to Good Day LA on FOX and what I saw was so shocking, I was wondering if I was still dreaming, but I wasn't. The World Trade Center was on fire. Just as my mother, my sister and I were getting ready to head on out, both towers collapsed and the entire city of New York was covered in massive dust cloud. People were running, screaming, crying while trying to find shelter; I can still see the live pictures from NY in my mind.

At school it was all on everyone's mind, and our teachers did their jobs of keeping us calm. My English teacher had a tv in our class to show us the lasted updates on NY, but we only watched the news for about 15 min into our class time. It wasn't easy for us to focus on school work but somehow we still went about our high school lives, until the bell rang at 3:00 that is.

When I returned home, all I could watch were the lasted images of the planes crashing into the towers, still photos of people jumping to their deaths, hearing that all air traffic had been grounded, etc. I kept asking myself, how could this have happened? Before I knew it, we were at war, the question was with whom? I ended up calling everyone in my family; my Aunt Edan and Uncle Tony in Frisco, my grandparents, Aunt Robie, Aunt Maria, and we all just could stop taking out the unthinkable.

I'd like to ask, if you want to talk about it, where you all on 9/11?

After 10 years

First off, I'd like to thank Mr. Gonzales and Nick Canon for lending me there camera lenses. If it weren't for them, I wouldn't have attended the con, let alone have fun.
Unfortunately, I wasn't able to attend AM2, due to lack of gas and parking funds. From what I was told, DAY 1 of AM2 was very slow, but on DAY 2 and 3, things were able to pick up. From what I can tell, I don't think  I'll be attending anime cons next year. If all goes well, I'll be studying abroad in Australia all next year.

I'd also like to mention that since AX, I've continuing to finding work, and finishing up my applications for studying abroad in Australia. All that's left is to turn it in, but to due to lack of gas funds, I've been unable to complete the possess at CSULB. I won't be able to attend Comic Con since its sold out, but I will attend it someday. Also I'm not sure what con I'll be attending next, but when I have the cash, I'll let you know.

Anyway, I just realized I'm starting to make a name for myself ever since I was interviewed by ACKSONL on AX DAY 4.
Here's my interview.

I hear that the Miku concert was a huge success. Miku's halogram was life sized, instead of being 3x bigger like she was in Japan.

PS, my subscription to DA is about to expire and if anyone will be willing to help keep it going, I sure would be grateful.
